 * * * I have a passion for photography * * *

     Photography has been my obsession since the summer of 1971 when I bought my first Single Lens Reflex camera (SLR), a Minolta SRT-101. I soon became seriously interested in nature photography; color slides & prints, and black & white prints.
     I worked for CPI corp as a Sears Portrait Studio manager/photographer at locations in Tampa, FL.; Colombia, S.C.; Pensacola, FL.; Tallahassee, FL.; and Ft. Myers, FL.. I estimate that I photographed over 100,000 people over the years.
     CPI promoted me to a position in their home office in St. Louis, MO. for five years as Director of Photography. This job consisted mainly of telephone troubleshooting of photography and camera systems. I also developed and produced a newsletter for studio managers.
     Harmon's Photo & Video in Ft. Myers, Florida provided my living for ten years starting in Fall 1991. I was in charge of the computer graphics department and taught their photography classes. Selling cameras and whatever else is necessary were also part of my duties. I left Harmon's employment at the end of September 2001 to pursue my own business of photography and writing.
     Over the years, I've always felt that I did people photography for a living and nature photogaphy for LOVE! Presented on these pages are some of my nature photos. They are available for purchase as matted and framed art, as note cards or incorporated into a photo craft, or as digital files. The photos represented here are only a representative sample of the photos I have taken and will continue taking. If you want specific photos please feel free to contact me with your needs.
