These photos are representative of the raw material that
went into making the kaleidographic images in the
"Playing With Fire" gallery.
The photos were taken with a Canon PowerShot A560 digital camera (7.1 megapixel) mounted on a tripod for maximum stability. Over a period of about two hours I took about 150 photos from which I later selected triangular slices to make up my pentakals and dodecahedrons.

Oh Yeah! Wouldn't want that
bed of coals to go to waste. |
